Entry Requirements
Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, over the age of 18 and under 30, senior high school graduates or above, in good health and qualified for university application.
If both parents or one of the parents of the applicant are Chinese citizens and reside in a foreign country, the applicant should have foreign nationality at birth and hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least 4 years. In addition, more than 2 years of actual residence in a foreign country has been recorded in the last 4 years (ending on April 30, 2021). The actual residence of more than 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, subject to the entry and exit signatures. For residences of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who immigrated to foreign countries and are applying as international students, please refer to the requirements above.
Applicant's language proficiency must meet the requirements. Applicants from non-English-speaking countries must reach a score above 70 in TOEFL (15 or above for each item) or 6.0 in IELTS (5.5 or above for each item); or provide other comparable certificates proving English proficiency. Applicants from English-speaking countries or receiving the last degree with the instruction in English are exempt from submitting the English proficiency certificates, but the certificate of English medium issued by the school graduated from shall be provided.
Note: You must pay the tuition fee of 30,000 RMB and the accommodation fee of 6,000 RMB within two weeks before the university will issue the Form 202.

-Please note that this document is valid for only 3 months. For instance, if you submit your -application in April, your non-criminal record must have been issued no earlier than January.
-Obtain a police clearance certificate from the local police station where you currently reside, confirming no criminal record in the past 6 months at the time of application.
-You need to translated it into CHINESE if it is not in Chinese; Then you need to get it notarized by local notary office and then get it certified by local Chinese embassy; If your country has joined the HAGUE convention then just do the Chinese translation and Apostille; Then you may need to mail original copy of non-criminal record and translation & certified(or Apostille) documents to the university in China.
-If you are currently in China, the certificate must be issued by the local Chinese police.*8. Scanned copy of Foreigner’s Physical Examination Form completed in Chinese or English.
*9. English self-introduction video (3-5 minutes, no more than 50M).
10. Original Authorization to the Guardian (for the applicants under the age of 18 by October 20, 2025) needs to be notarized with signatures.
If not notarized in China, the endorsement of local Chinese Embassy is required.

-The test covers Chinese (Humanities and STEM Chinese), Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Mathematics is required for all programs, while other subjects depend on the university’s specific requirements.
